Laundry Day at the River

I don't know how these ladies do it! Somehow their freshly washed clothes are always bright and spotless, even though they scrub them by hand in river water and lay them on rocks or bushes to dry.I have to walk outside the house to turn a switch every time I wash clothes and I think I've got it bad! Think of the time and muscle it would take to wash clothes like this for a family of 7... 10... or 15, without Shout or Downy, in 90+ degree heat!
Puts things in perspective, huh? Go ahead- thank God for your washing machine! :-)
